TESTING

TESTING SERVICE

Testing Service conforms to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Standard and is accredited to NABL in the area of Electrical and Electronics testing.
CEC has facilities to conduct test on products such as Batteries, UPS, Inverters, PV inverter, Powersupplies, Voltag stabiliser, LED Lamps and luminaries, Medical electronic products, Electronic ballasts, Drives.
CEC has safety testing facilities, environmental test facilities and EMI/EMC test facilities to conduct tests on electrical and electronics products.
CEC has NABL accreditation for the standards IS 13514, IS 1145, IS 14257, IS 5154, IS 1651, IS13369, IS15549, LM79, IS 16107, IS15111, IS 16102, IS 8448, IS 7204, IS-13314, IS/IEC 61683, IS 9815, IEC 62040, IEC 60068, IEC 61373, JSS 55555, JSS 50101, QM-333, IS 9000, IEC 60950, IEC-60065

PHOTOMETRIC TEST

CEC have integrating chamber facility with spectrophotometer to test all types of lamps and luminaries including LED lamps, discrete LEDs, Laser Diodes.

SAFETY TESTING

CEC has facilities to conduct safety testing Electrical, Electronics and Medical electronic products. CEC also have NABL accreditation for the Information Technology Equipment (Computer Systems, Monitors, Printers, Scanners, Keyboards, Telephones & Automatic Data Processing Machine, Telecom equipments) as per IEC 60950-1 or IS 13252(part1) and Electronics Audio, Video Appliances & Components as per IEC-60065 or IS-616 standards.

ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING

Environmental chambers such as hot, cold, thermal cycling, humidity and vibration chambers are available in CEC to conduct environmental tests on Electrical and Electronic products.

EMI/EMC TESTING

CEC has facilities to conduct EMI/EMC test like Limits for harmonic current emissions, Limitation of voltage changes and voltage fluctuations, Electrostatic discharge immunity test, Electrical fast transient / burst immunity test, Surge Immunity Test, Immunity to conducted disturbances, induced by radio-frequency fields, Power frequency magnetic field immunity test and tests as per CISPER 15.
